Breakfast Partner

- User Experience and Interface Design -

For my university project, I was given the challenge of designing and developing an application from the ground up, starting with the concept and taking it all the way through to the final design. I've noticed that many designers prefer to work solo, sticking to their own creative zone. And while there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that—it often helps with focus—I believe that sometimes, the creative mind benefits from collaboration.

Working with other creatives, even if it’s just a simple brainstorming session, can open up exciting new possibilities. Sharing ideas and perspectives with another person often sparks unique and interesting concepts that one might not have thought of alone. Plus, having someone to critique your work and provide feedback can really push your project to the next level.

From my own experience, I’ve found that while the idea of working in a team is appealing, it’s not always easy to find other creatives around you. Sometimes, the people you know may not share the same creative mindset or background, making it hard to get that collaborative boost.

That’s where the idea for *Breakfast Partner* came in—a platform designed to connect creatives from all over the world. It’s like a matchmaking app, but instead of pairing people romantically, it helps creatives find their ideal partners to collaborate with on projects. Whether you’re looking for someone to help you brainstorm, critique, or bring a project to life, *Breakfast Partner* helps you connect with like-minded creatives to make something great together.

A working prototype has been displayed at the end.
